Haha, no worries mate, it can happen to everyone! You only damaged my rear and side with about 20%, and the track is pretty easy and short, so I only lost half a sec each lap, mostly because of the topspeed.

My only gripe is, that this is the third time that this has happened with me this series alone, inc the test event, and it's getting to be quite discouraging. I don't know why people tend to smash into me all the time, it might be the line I'm using, as it is kinda different then others. ( Says Hotlunchin when being behind me a few laps:P )

The second race though, I really struggeled to keep Seb off my tail, and I did manage to do so for about 8 laps, where I made stupid mistake and he was gone. Well played, and creds to you for keeping your head cool. I guess your WLR experience is more than just the gazillion trophies you've collected. ;)
Also had a small battle with Soundman at the last two laps, but I somehow lost downforce in the long lefthander before the long straight, and I never got to take him down the straight. It was fun though, but I feel silly for not being able to take him, even when his engine was damaged by 11%. It's actually a good indication of how much better he is than me really.

And Speeddmon! What can I say really, he's in a total different class and he proved it again last night. He's been fantastic throughout the whole series, and I'm really REALLY glad to have him as a teammate! Well done mate! :D

Darting left to right like nobody's business ! As for dodgy lines i wouldn't even go as far as calling them lines... :P

I think you've just been unlucky matey. Ive had 2 races in a row now where Ive suffered damage or had other racing incidents which have cost me. There's a few new people this season (myself included) so there's bound to be a few teething issues. Already looking forward to next season though !

As for Mallwyd's bitch up i was on my 11th lap in the second race and he managed to spin out in front of me whilst i was coming up to overtake him (he was down a lap or two) and cost me easily half of my lead over rizla granted we were in the bottom group and points aren't exactly vast... Was still pretty ASS ! Bitching finished...

Hotlunchin, when lapping it is perfectly normal to let the person know, I'll let you by and believe me I didn't spin intentionally. Only able to get to upper end of 4th gear on straight due to incident in early laps, so lapping isn't too difficult. Sorry you lost half of your lead...

Everybody play nice...

I believe that I warned the lobby beforehand that the track was narrow and offered difficulties when overtaking slow/damaged cars.

It's just one of those things unfortunately. If you're coming up behind a slower car then the onus is on YOU to make that car aware of your position. In most circumstances they have to give way to you. That doesn't mean you'll lose no time, but it's how it's done.

Rusty, your times are starting to come together - the practice is paying off!

Overtaking and being overtaken is problematic in real life and even more so in Forza. Perhaps if you have three screens you can see a car to your side, I don't and can't.

One can tell that a car has entered a blind zone and likely has the racing line, from that point it is my responsibility likely is to yield the line to the faster car, presuming he has come along side and tuck inside asap. Actually it depends on how far along side but that is difficult to determine in the blind zone. Going into turn one, sandwiched between two others is difficult unless all parties understand the limitations. I assumed most understand that overtaking on the outside is next to impossible in that situation considering at least one of the two cars is going to claim the racing line, can't think of a situation when that isn't the case or that the outside car gets the line...

Anyway, hopefully this is about enjoyment and not validating one's life ;) Been there and already done that, really doesn't give you super powers ...

Cheers,

Rusty
